God will make a way even when it looks impossible.

Do you ever feel like against all hope, your circumstances are impossible to overcome? Have you ever felt God place something on your heart that looks entirely too big for you to walk out? 

Me too. I shook my head and thought there was no way I would be capable of doing those things. They were big. So big that I didn’t even feel brave enough to say it out loud. 

But, here’s the thing. God is BIGGER than all the obstacles. As I was reading this morning, I was reminded of Abraham.

Romans 4 vs 18-21 

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was AS GOOD AS DEAD-since he was about 100 years old-and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet, he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he promised. 

Now, listen, Abraham wasn’t perfect. He definitely had hard days and got in his own way from time to time. But, at the end of the day, he believed. And, so it was done. (You can read more about him in Genesis) 

Today, I want you to remember that the things God is calling you to is not something you are even capable of walking out on your own. It’s an opportunity for you to lean on Him, grow your faith, and grow His kingdom when you give Him the glory. Stop doubting. Stop trying to run ahead. Stop ignoring and dismissing the call. 

God wants to use you today. And it is going to be an incredible adventure. At the end of the day, you are going to look back and be left in awe. He is a good, good God. He knows you better than you know yourself. He wants what is best for you. Trust Him. Lean in and let Him guide you.
